Hi,
Using 360 videos as Skyboxes opens up a lot of opportunities for immersive virtual tours.
Is this possible to do in the World Builder? If not is this something you would consider adding?

We definitely want this. 360° and 180° monoscopic and stereoscopic videos. Currently we only support hdr and cubemap skyboxes, meaning still pictures. It’s on our list but not with a high priority as we still lack some basic functionality. I look forward to those videos though.
In the next release, we have a very nice 360° Image projection. The video will have to wait until the release after, but we will do it unless you want to? With the runtime scripting, you can write your own Nodes for the Logic Editor.
We are also very much requesting 360-video.

Yes, we want 360° Videos, non-stereoscopic for now. Can you work with that? Do you have a link you could share where I can download such a video?
If all goes well, we should have our next release ready after 2-3 weeks.
I’m having trouble finding a 360° video for testing. Can you point me to a site where I might download such files or could you upload some of yours for me to use (testing only)? Currently, development was halted because I can’t find any videos.

I am interested in using 360 vidéos and images. I would like to use them as skybox and like bubbles an avatar can walk inside and out.
There is a way to use multiple 360 images/vidéos in the same world ?Yes, I would define the bubbles as trigger boxes and respond to the trigger enter or exit signals. Then use the SkyBox Video Node to switch between different videos, depending on which bubble you are leaving/entering. Mixing 360° videos and 360° images is a bit more difficult, because the images are displayed by projecting them onto a sphere while the videos are fed to the skybox. You will have to do some hide/show instructions to get the desired result.
